Stormwater Art Gardens

The Stormwater Art Gardens are a template for a neighborhood initative through SF Grey to Green in conjunction with Friends of the Urban Forest along with local artists. FS Studio designed and installed the gardens for an eager homeowner with the intent to set a precedent for more pollinator & avian friendly gardens on city streets that are able to handle California’s drought prone climate.

Further mural Art, bee habitat sculptures, bicycle parking and a wifi bench are forthcoming. The small installation has become part of a broader plan for pedestrian streets in a new development neighborhood in San Francisco where the tenants are being utilized to create habitat, social interest & investment in the public realm.
